What to include if you found a bug
The fastest way to get a bug fixed is to send us the exact recipe text you pasted in, the unit you were converting to, and what result you expected instead. A screenshot helps too, but the raw text of the recipe usually matters more, since that is what actually gets parsed.
Requesting a new ingredient
Convertly converts weight and volume using a built in table of ingredient densities, and we are always adding to it. If you paste in a recipe and an ingredient gets kept as is instead of converted, let us know the ingredient name. If you happen to know its density or how many grams are in a cup of it, include that too and it will get added faster.
General feedback
If something about the site was confusing, slow, or just didn't feel right, tell us. Convertly is a small project and most of what gets improved starts with someone pointing out a rough edge.
Convertly does not run its own tracking or analytics, and there is no account system. This page does not load any ad scripts directly, but our homepage does (Google AdSense). Because that's the same site domain, advertising cookies from the homepage can still be present in your browser here. See "Cookies and storage" below.
What stays on your device
Everything you type into the recipe input on our main tool is processed locally inside your browser. It never leaves your device, and closing the tab clears it permanently.
